The Log Cabin Lateral quilt pattern is a modern football-inspired quilt pattern and uses a semi-improv piecing method perfect for using scraps in your stash.  The pattern provides instructions for a more simple improv approach or you can take your improv even further with additional instructions for a more "wonky" log cabin version.
 
Skill Level : Confident Beginner - techniques include snowball corners (stitch and flip), and semi-improv piecing.
