Summer Games USA Quilt Block Pattern by Jessica Steele Design.
 
This block was designed as part of the 2024 Summer Games Sampler.  It is inspired by USA athletes competing at the highest level of competition with the three sawtooth stars representing the medals given to the top three athletes in each event at the Games.
 
It also celebrates the peace and friendship of the Games as symbolized by the flame.
 
 
Block size is 18" finished, 18.5" unfinished
Pattern assumes that the quilter has basic piecing and quilting knowledge
Intermediate - curves, half rectangle triangles, flying geese, half square triangles and snowball corners.
